Minuteman Missile National Historic Site
Minuteman Missile National Historic Site features exhibits telling the story of the nuclear missile silos that were located throughout southwestern South Dakota. The visitors center includes memorabilia and displays that tell the story of the arms race from the 1960s through the present day, as well as the experiences of the people who lived through the times. Down the road, there is a control center and a missile silo that can be toured, but, at the time I visited the park, they were closed.

- Visitors Center The visitors center is just north of Badlands National Park.
- Entrance Plaque This plaque sets a different tone than I was expecting for the park. Rather than glorifying the era, to me it sets a more sombre tone.
- Exhibit This exhibit displayed a package that would be included in a fallout shelter.
- Control Center Chair This exhibit was the one to bring back some heavy shit from the 80s, imagining turning the key and triggering the end of the world.
