Mather Point It's not overrated, even in weather like this. Unbelieveable.

Moran Point The storm appeared to be traveling from west to east through the canyon, following my path around.

Navajo Point I arrived at Navajo Point before the storm caught-up to me and got some sunny shots.

Mather Point View Location The weather got worse and worse as I approached the Grand Canyon from the south on Route 64. Once I got there, I discovered a storm passing through the canyon from the west which followed me for the rest of the time I was there. I'd out run it and then it would catch-up each time I got out of my car to take a look. It wasn't disappointing. I thought it was different to see it like this. Despite the weather, it still surprised me how awesome the Grand Canyon really is. After all the things I saw on my way here, I figured I'd feel it was overrated. Nope... it's not overrated.
Moran Point Hail View Location This video doesn't do the brutality of the environment justice. It was like getting sand blasted.
Moran Point (Getting Blasted) View Location A rare selfie I shot while my GoPro rig captured a panning shot of the wickedness.
