Canyonlands National Park
Canyonland National Park is one of the “Big Five” national parks in Utah, the others being Arches, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Zion. It’s hard to argue against the appeal of the natural arches in Arches and the absolutely spectacular, well, everything in Zion, but for me the views of the vast expanse that surrounds Canyonlands is my favorite in the bunch. My two visits to Canyonlands took place throughout the Island In The Sky area of the park that separates contains the canyon formed by the Colorado River on the east and the canyon formed by the Green River on the west.

- Look, Ma! For some reason, I wasn't bothered by the heights. It felt like being in outer space. You're SO high up that it doesn't feel like it.
- Grand View Point Overlook In this picture, you can see where the eastern side of Island In The Sky (on the left), that contains the Colorado River, meets the western side (on the right), that contains the Green River. The rivers converge beyond Junction Butte in the middle of the picture.
- Bronica With Buck Canyon I shot a lot of pictures with the Bronica, especially with the telephoto lens.
