Arches National Park
Arches National Park is one of the “Big Five” national parks in Utah, the others being Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion. It is an immensely popular park that I failed to enter the first time through Utah during my 2019 road trip. Utah was so amazing that I decided to return east through the state so that I could see Arches and Canyonlands on the trip. The weather was crazy during that visit, vacillating between bright, partly cloudy skies and ominous storm clouds, but it didn’t take much away from the experience. My second visit to Arches was nothing but perfection, though I didn’t have a chance to travel very far into the park.
